The LBIM-M certification is designed for experienced professionals who lead BIM implementation on complex projects—covering strategy, standards, team supervision, and risk-aware delivery aligned with NABPA protocols.
Program Structure
A 12-week executive-level program combining management case studies and leadership assignments. Candidates complete four key modules and must maintain an average score of 80% or higher.
Modules:
- BIM Management Principles — Managing multi-disciplinary teams and defining project workflows.
- Standards & Compliance — Company standards, templates, QA/QC systems, and model audits.
- Project Delivery & Risk Management — Budgets, schedules, KPIs, and risk mitigation using BIM data.
- Leadership in VDC — Communication, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement for large-scale delivery.
Format
- Weekly live sessions and leadership workshops.
- Mentorship from BIM Directors and industry leaders.
- Practical management assignments and evaluation reports.
- Peer collaboration in simulated program environments.
Program Duration
3 months (12 weeks) — structured for Coordinators/Specialists advancing into managerial roles.
Certification Requirement
Graduates must complete all modules and pass final evaluations with at least a 80% average to receive the Licensed BIM Manager (LBIM-M) credential.
