NABPA Expands BIM Training to Latin America
Uniting Construction Standards Across the Continent
February 16, 2025 – The North American BIM Professional Alliance (NABPA) is proud to announce the expansion of its BIM training initiatives to Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Argentina. This marks a significant step toward unifying Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards across the Americas, ensuring that professionals in the construction industry share the same methodologies, workflows, and best practices.
With a vision of creating a more efficient and standardized construction ecosystem, NABPA is launching free training programs for professionals in these countries. These programs aim to equip engineers, architects, and construction experts with the necessary skills to implement industry-leading BIM strategies, aligning Latin America with global standards.
Why This Matters
The construction industry in Latin America faces significant challenges due to fragmented workflows and inconsistent digital adoption. By introducing uniform BIM standards, NABPA seeks to:
✅ Improve project efficiency by reducing errors and rework.
✅ Enhance collaboration between professionals across borders.
✅ Boost innovation by integrating cutting-edge digital tools.
✅ Create job opportunities for skilled BIM professionals.
A Growing Network for BIM Professionals
To support this initiative, NABPA has established a BIM network in Latin America, enabling professionals to collaborate, troubleshoot BIM workflows, and share best practices. This network allows all members to access training resources and participate in discussions.
Additionally, NABPA is working closely with companies, universities, and professional organizations in each country to promote BIM adoption at a national level, ensuring that future projects align with global digital construction trends.
Join the BIM Revolution
NABPA invites construction professionals, BIM experts, and industry leaders in Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Argentina to become part of this movement. By working together, we can build a stronger, more connected construction industry across the continent.
