Licensed BIM Coordinator (LBIMC®)
The LBIM-C certification advances BIM professionals into coordination and project integration roles, emphasizing multi-trade collaboration, clash detection, and workflow optimization across real job conditions.
Program Structure
A 3-month (12-week) program combining live coordination sessions with data-driven workflows. Participants complete five core modules and must achieve a minimum passing score of 80%.
Modules:
- BIM Coordination Fundamentals — Coordination hierarchy, model federation, and issue management setup.
- Navisworks Management — Clash detection, viewpoints, model aggregation, and coordination meeting workflows.
- 4D Scheduling & Logistics — Integrating models with schedules for visual planning and sequencing.
- Communication & Reporting — ACC/BIM 360, Navisworks, Bluebeam for structured issues, reports, and audits.
- BIM Execution Planning (BEP) — Deliverables, LOD, model uses, responsibilities, and coordination protocols.
Format
- Live instructor-led coordination labs twice a week.
- Real scenarios: data centers and healthcare projects.
- Direct use of Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360, Bluebeam, Revit.
- Mentorship from NABPA Certified BIM Managers.

Certification Requirement
Participants must pass all module exams with a minimum score of 80% to be officially licensed as a Licensed BIM Coordinator (LBIM-C).
